The 7 weeks are over, but I will still be continuing this blog. However, I will not be posting every week. I will post only sometimes when I get a good chance. Also, my very last cheer competition of the season is this weekend. I hope you will still follow my blog, and read my babysitting adventures.

Dress Up!!!

Sorry that I didn't get my 7th week post in on the 7th week.

Well on that week, I played dress up with my 3 year old twin brothers, Josh and Caleb. I know they're boys, but they love to dress up! I put on a Sleeping Beauty dress- We have two of those dresses and Caleb wore the smaller one. Josh dressed up as one of the fairies from Tinkerbell. My younger sister, Kallie, wore pom-poms somehow. Also, before we played dress up, Kallie dressed up as Minnie Mouse and acted like her. The boys really believed that she was actually Minnie Mouse! Then I decided to dress up as Ariel from Disney Princesses and act like her, too. Josh and Caleb really liked having Ariel and Minnie Mouse at their house, even though they didn't know who Ariel was. It is really fun to play dress up with my brothers. We are going to Disneyland this spring break, and the boys are so excited. I am too. They will never stop talking about it. I haven't been doing much babysitting; I have had a lot of homework and cheer competitions.

Snow Day!

    
        We finally got some good snow this winter that actually stuck to the ground. School was canceled, so we had a very fun day.


        I bundled up my twin brothers on Thursday morning. First, snow pants, then coat, socks, boots, hat, and mittens. Now it was time to play in the snow! I dashed outside impatiently, Josh and Caleb followed after. I grabbed our 3 sleds, hauled them up to the hill, and tobogganed down with Josh. My dog, Chipper sprinted through the snow, kicking it through the air. I was waiting this whole winter to be able to play in the snow with my brothers, because last year they were too young, and didn't have any snow clothes. The snow was about 4 inches high, not very much. Josh and Caleb were so amazed with the cold white snow, covering the ground. My mom took a lot of pictures, but that didn't stop me from exploring through the snow. Our family made a snow man, the boys helped by putting the arms in and rolling up the balls a little. Our snow man turned out to be a small snow girl because my sister, Kallie, added a bow and hair. After a while, my brothers got tired of playing in the snow and cold, so the went inside for a cup of hot cocoa. Kallie and I kept on playing outside. I started to build a ramp out of snow when Josh and Caleb came back outside to play again. I had to babysit them while my mom stayed in the house and my dad went to work. Josh helped me gather snow to finish the snow ramp, while Caleb jumped on the snow covered trampoline with Kallie. The ramp was finished and I tested it out. I sledded down the hill on my knees, then when I came to the ramp I extended my legs, and I went high in to the air landing safely back on the ground. Josh watched me then wanted to try, so I took him down the hill and we went up into the air. After Josh had a turn on my ramp creation, Caleb tried it too, but it didn't work very well. As Caleb and I went down the hill, the sled went for to the left and when I jumped the ramp, Caleb fell off. He was alright, but didn't want to go again. I urged Caleb and told him that it would be better next time. He finally decided to try again and it worked well the next time. After a while of playing in the snow, I was getting cold. We all went inside, dried off, and Kallie and I drank a nice cup of hot cocoa. The snow started to melt and our snow girl fell over, but my ramp was still there. Our day of snow was sadly over and we had school the next day on Friday.

The Fun Times

This week was really fun! I had fun playing all sorts of fun games with Josh and Caleb while I babysat. The 3 year old twin boys kept telling me, "You're my best friend." Or they would say, "I'm your best friend." Mostly Josh was repeating that I was his best friend. My mom took my 8 year old sister, Kallie, to her doctors appointment and I stayed at home and babysat. At first, they were both taking their nap, but then Caleb woke up. He ran around the whole house crying, "Mommy! Where are you, Mommy? I need to go potty. I need to go potty, Mommy! Where are you?" I stopped reading my book and helped Caleb go potty. Afterwards, he still ran around the house, looking in every room, majorly mourning now, "Mommy! Mommy, I need you!" I told him that Mommy had to go bye-bye and take Sissy to the doctor. Caleb ignored what I said, kicked me, then started to run around in circles calling for her. I never like to see the boys cry, it breaks my heart to hear them cry. I finally got Caleb to calm down by turning "Blue's Clues" on the TV and giving him a fruit roll to eat. After that Caleb was alright, and Josh was still a sleep.

I also played a bunch of games with my brothers. We pretended to be farm animals and cowboys, had a dance party, worked puzzles, jumped on the trampoline, played outside, and I spun them around super fast. I think that Josh and Caleb are the cutest little boys ever! They sing, dance, and have very creative imaginations. The best times I've had with them, are the fun times while babysitting. 

Don't Let the Cuteness Fool You...

One thing that you should know about Josh and Caleb, they look so cute, but when you see how they act at home, they're way different.

I practically babysit them every day. They make almost the biggest messes you've ever seen. This week (every week) I picked up the house over and over and over again. The boys dump their toys out of the baskets and toy boxes, pull all of the pillows off of the couch, unfold blankets, and don't pick it up after. Here's a quote from Caleb, "I like to go bye bye. I like Mickey Mouse." Here's a quote from Josh, "I sick. I go to doctor."

For babysitting this week, I played games with Josh and Caleb. We played best friend, Caleb was my best friend and Josh was my sister, Kallie's best friend. We also played choo-choo-trains. Together we designed and set up the train tracks, it was amazingly huge and spread out across the floor. Something funny that Caleb did was that he wouldn't let me pass by unless I said, "Ding!" We played a game called Good Guy, Bad Guy, where Josh was the bad guy and Caleb, Kallie, and I were good guys, and we ran and hid from Josh. We also played Monster Hide-n-seek. We partnered up with one of the boys, hid in a good hiding spot, then waited for the monsters to find us, and switched. Also during babysitting, Kallie, Josh, and Caleb played with each other. Kallie pretended to be the mom, Caleb pretended to be the big brother, and Josh pretended to be the baby. They pretended to go to sleep for the game while I was deleting photos on my new camera. I finished doing stuff with my camera and got up. Kallie said, "What are you doing in our house?" I answered, "Oh, you're pretending that this is your house." I walked out and they kept on playing House. They may look cute, but they sure make a big mess and are hard to take care of!

Funny Brother Stories

My twin brothers do a lot of funny things. Here are some stories about the funny things they did.

                                                       Jail:

One time Caleb ran into my room while I was putting clothes away. He pushed me down to the floor and sat on me. Caleb put his hand over my mouth and pointed his fingers at me in a shape of a gun, he said, "You're a bad guy." I played along and yelled, "Joshy! Help me, help me, Josh!" Josh darted in right to Caleb and pushed him over. I stood up as Josh and Caleb wrestled each other. It was starting to get a little to violent so I tried to break up the fight. Caleb freed himself from Josh and pushed me into my closet. He yelled, "JAIL!" I thought it was so funny and started cracking up. It was like they playing this weird game.

Big Tummy:

After school, my mom came and picked me up. She told me that Caleb did something really funny at Clubsport (a work out/sports place.) My mom told me that she picked the boys up from the daycare center, and that Caleb pointed to a sort of overweight person's stomach and said, "You've got a big tummy. You've got a big tummy. You've got a big tummy." Luckily, it was hard for her to understand what he was saying because they have their own twin language.

My Nose:

Once, I pretended to take Caleb's nose. He freaked and started crying, "That's my nose. Give me back my nose." I pretended to put it back, he said, "Thank you," and he stopped crying. After that, Caleb and Josh started to pretend to take my hair, nose, arm, ear, foot, and other body parts, pretended to put it in their mouth and eat it. Then I pretended to cry and they would pretend to spit it out and put it back on my body. Still, now they pretend to eat me, but actually try biting me. YIKES!!

I'm Cleaning:

One time, Josh took his cup of water and started shaking it, leading a trail of water drops behind him. Caleb, following after had a toy horse head with a stick as the body to pretend to ride on, with the head part down. He used it as a mop and wiped all of the water away. The boys told my mom when she saw them, "We're cleaning." They worked together as a team to wipe up their own mess. If only they could pick up their toys.

Cool Joshy:
One day, after school my mom came and picked me up. She had Josh with her while Caleb stayed at home with my sister. I went in the car and Josh was wearing inside-out pajama pants, an orange pajama t-shirt on backwards, on top of a white long sleeve shirt, and neon colored swimming goggles with fish decorated on it. Josh said, "I'm cool Joshy." I asked my mom, "What is he wearing?" She answered, "He dressed himself today."

Santa-Ho, ho, ho:

One night, Caleb was wearing a red sweat shirt and a red ribbon around his waist. He held a white sock, a piece of tape, and held it out to my dad pointing to his chin saying, "I'm Santa-Ho, ho, ho." My dad taped the sock to his chin, Caleb was so proud that he looked like Santa (who they call Santa-Ho, ho, ho.) Josh thought that having a beard was interesting, so he got a tan sock and a piece of tape and held it out to my dad. My dad taped it onto Josh's chin. Soon enough, my sister and I started making paper mustaches and beards, then taping it on to ourselves.

My little brothers do way too many funny, weird, and gross things everyday. These are just some of their stories. My brothers are "Double Trouble!"

Babysitting Sleepover

This week I babysat my brothers with the help of my friend Susannah. We were going to have a sleepover that night. At first, my mom went to Costco and we babysat Josh and Caleb for her. The boys were taking their nap and Susannah and I were playing a game. Josh woke up to go to the bathroom, I ended up having to wipe him for the third or fourth time in my life. We put Josh back to bed and then he got up again saying that he needed water. I got him a cup of water and Susannah put him back to bed. Caleb stayed sound asleep, but Josh kept on getting up and we kept putting him back to bed. It was so hard to try to play when Josh would not go to sleep. Finally, my dad came in from doing his outside work and got Josh to go to bed. Susannah and I finished playing some of the games and then my mom came home from Costco.

 Then my parents were going to go on a date together. The boys were still taking their nap. My mom and dad just left and Caleb woke up from his nap. We were eating dinner then so Caleb wanted something to eat too. My sister, Kallie got him a z-bar, he ate it and then Susannah and I finished our dinner. I turned on the music and we made up a dance. We kept practicing the dance to the music, taking up all of the space on the floor when Caleb says, "I want to dance." So we let him dance to the music. After a while, Joshua woke up from his nap. Susannah got them their favorite drink, chocolate milk. I turned on the movie, Secret of the Cave. Josh and Caleb kept getting up and running around during the movie, so I had to go grab them and force them back into the room where we were watching the movie. Finally, my parents got home. Susannah, Kallie, and I stayed up and finished watching the movie. We let the boys run around and play since my mom and dad were home, so we didn't have to babysit anymore. The boys went to bed. We finished the movie and it was getting late, so we went to bed. The next morning Josh and Caleb came into my room, got on my bed, and played with Susannah while I was still really tired. We all did puzzles together and then Susannah and I tried hiding from the boys so that we could play our own game. Then Susannah's mom arrived at our house to pick her up. Josh and Caleb were so sad that she had to leave because they absolutely love her! It is so fun to babysit with your friend, especially when you get a sleepover too!

This is my brother Caleb. He is very gentle, sweet, caring, and sharing, but sometimes he can be a big fusser and whiner. Caleb usually acts like he gets everything he wants and everything his way. He is a big talker, always repeating everything he says many times. Caleb likes to be the center of attention, so he does funny things and makes silly faces. He loves it when other people are over and he goes up and talks to them, unlike Josh. I guess he would be called the sweet, stinkerpot boy. Caleb is a lot like me. He likes to take care of owies, by giving it a kiss then putting a band-aid on it. I love my little brother Caleb very much!

This is my brother Josh. He is very strong, tough, brave, and helpful, but sometimes he doesn't listen and do as he's told. When someone talks to him, he doesn't look at them. He doesn't talk as much as Caleb. When a lot of people are over, he gets overwhelmed and shy. Josh will hold on to my mom's legs and hide behind her or want to be held. I guess you could call him the shy, but brave disobedient boy. As you can see, he doesn't look at the camera when his picture is taken. Josh is 2 minutes older than Caleb. I love my brother Josh very much!

Josh and Caleb are 3 years old, they will be starting preschool next year. They are taking speech lessons once a week, because they don't speak clearly, which is common for twins. The boys model for companies, they call modeling working. Josh and Caleb are very close to each other, if one does or gets something the other one has to too. They love band-aids and stickers. They are interested in many different things, even girl toys like Barbie dolls. Josh calls Caleb, Cay-Cay and Caleb calls Josh, Jshoshy. They love each other very much, and so do I! I love having twin brothers.

Oh Brothers!

This week I babysat my 3 year old twin brothers, Josh and Caleb. On January 18th (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) I babysat my brothers outside. One would run this way then the other one would run the opposite way. It was just so hard and frustrating. I got out some toys for them. Then they started fighting over one of them, the plastic car that you can sit in but you have to walk for it to move. I finally just said, "Boys, share! It's Caleb's turn anyway." Instead of Caleb taking a turn, he let Josh have it and rode the tricycle. What a sweet boy Caleb is. I started riding the go-cart and Josh and Caleb pushed me to make me go faster. After a while of playing outside and brothers fighting, I was ready to go inside. The boys wanted to keep playing outside, but I really wanted to go inside. I put away the toys. Josh and Caleb started drawing with chalk. Suddenly, we heard gun shots. We usually hear gun shots a lot where we live so I wasn't worried, but I made up a good plan to get the boys to go inside. I yelled, "Oh no! Gun shots. Hurry, we need to go inside, there's a bad guy. Hurry a bad guy!" Josh and Caleb rushed inside, they actually believed that there was a bad guy. I was taking my time slowly making my way to the house. The boys started rushing me inside. We went in, sat on the couch, and watched the movie My Dog Skip. I was exhausted from babysitting my little brothers. The boys stayed and watched the movie, or at least part of it. I started to lose my focus in the movie and looked for the boys to make sure they were still there, but they weren't there. So I got up and looked around the house, my mom was already putting them down for a nap. I guess babysitting is over until they wake up again. Oh brothers!!!!

My Hobbies

I collect rocks and zanny bands. I like to read and write. I babysit my brothers and help out my mom. I email on the computer and look up things on google. I do competetive cheerleading.
